Priyanka Chopra reveals why she skipped Oscars 2018

Globetrotter Priyanka Chopra has been rocking the red carpets of The Academy Awards for the past two years. Just like the last two years, the fans were eagerly expecting the actress to make a grand appearance on the red carpet. But, Priyanka Chopra was missing from the 90th Academy Awards and it made everyone wonder why she was absent.

Priyanka Chopra took to her Instagram story to give a reason behind the absence at the Oscars 2018. Wishing good luck to the nominees, she revealed that she was unwell that's why she had to skip it. Sharing a picture, she captioned, "I wish all my friends nominated tonight the very best! So sick but wishing everyone from the bed. Can’t wait to know the winners!"

 

The 90th Academy Awards was hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. It took place at Dolby Theater in Hollywood on March 4. Priyanka Chopra made her first Academy Awards appearance in the year 2016. In 2017, she slayed the red carpet once again. She was promoting her Hollywood debut film Baywatch which starred Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.

 

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra is currently filming the third season of Quantico in New York City. The season 3 will have 13 episodes and will air in the month of April 2018. They will move the show from Sunday to Thursday. Priyanka Chopra will also be seen in two Hollywood films- A Kid Like Jake and Isn’t It Romantic.
