Parineeti Chopra steals the spotlight as she walks the runway as the showstopper for Fabiana at Lakme Fashion Week

There was a timeless essence in the “Qurbat” collection by Faabiiana that was unveiled at Lakmé Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI. Inspired by the ‘Romance of the Rose’, the exquisite line unfolded on the ramp with a series of regal Benarasi fabrics and the delicate craft of chikankari. To further enhance the glamour of the dazzling ethnic wear, the addition of Akoya and South Sea pearls completed the embellishment story.

 

When it came to shimmer and shine, it was the delicate Mukaish work that was in the forefront. Weaving a grand fashionable love story in the collection, the formal and bridal wear looks gave a firm direction to the showcase. The luxurious lehengas with innovative cholis and grand dupattas made dramatic entries on the ramp. Shararas with ornate kurtis and embellished saris as well as flowing Anarkalis brought tradition with a contemporary touch to the runway.

 

 

Keeping the wedding trousseau requirements of the groom in mind, the Faabiiana brand displayed four men’s wear comprising kurta, cropped long-sleeved jacket, salwars and dupattas in shades of ivory with shimmering embroidery.

 

The radiant Parineeti Chopra was the ideal showstopper for the “Qurbat” collection as she glided down the ramp in a dazzling, ivory sari with an ornate border, while a sheer, floor- skimming dupatta glittered on her shoulders.

 

Designer Karishma Luharuwala and Kusum Luharuwala of Label Faabiiana shared, “We are thrilled to announce our participation at Lakmé Fashion Week X FDCI, a platform that signifies a significant milestone in our journey. Qurbat by Faabiiana is more than just a collection. It's an ode to the enduring magic of love and craftsmanship. Parineeti presented Faabiiana's Qurbat, which encapsulates the timeless essence of the "Romance of the Rose." This exquisite collection boasts the artistry of Chikankari embroidery, Banarasi fabric, Akoya and South Sea Pearls. With delicate Mukaish work adding a touch of mystery and shimmer.
