This Pakistani actor books entire theatre to watch Alia Bhatt's Gangubai Kathiawadi with his wife

Gangaubai Kathiawadi has proved to be one of the most successful films of Bollywood. The film starring Alia Bhatt in the titular role has managed to become one of the first films to cross over Rs. 100 crores post-pandemic. It revolves around the true story of Gangubai Harjivandas, popularly known as Gangubai Kothewali, whose life was documented in the book Mafia Queens of Mumbai written by S. Hussain Zaidi. The film has been receiving an overwhelming response not just in India but overseas too.

Well, seems like Alia’s Gangubai Kathiawadi has created a huge impact on the popular Pakistani actor Muneeb Butt too. As per an Instagram page called ‘Alia Bhatt Supporters Online’, Muneeb had booked an entire cinema hall to watch the movie with his wife and actress Aiman ​​Khan. Aiman ​​is such a big fan of Alia Bhatt that her husband could not stop himself from giving this beautiful surprise to his wife.

 

Helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Gangubai Kathiawadi got a worldwide theatrical release on 25th February 2022. It also premiered on the 72nd annual Berlin International Film Festival, usually called the Berlinale.
