National Award-winning actor Vikrant Massey stars in the upcoming thriller White. Acclaimed cinematographer Juan Carlos Gil, known for his work on Narcos, is part of the project and has spoken about Massey’s dedication during demanding shooting schedules. Vikrant Massey has previously been seen in roles that focus on grounded emotions, including 12th Fail, where he portrayed the journey of a young man striving to overcome challenges in pursuit of his aspirations.

During a recent chat with Mid-Day, Gil shared details about the filming, i.e. three weeks in the vibrant streets of Colombia, followed by another schedule in bustling Bengaluru, India. The Colombia leg was especially demanding for Vikrant. Gil shared that, “Vikrant is a talented actor, but it was very intense. He spent around five hours every day for make-up and hair. After that, he had to do the scene - that's another 12 hours! He was generous about the job, and with the crew in Colombia.” This praise highlights Vikrant's commitment, as he pushed through long days in challenging conditions to deliver authentic performances.

 

Vikrant Massey has established himself through portrayals of grounded, real-life characters on screen. From Sector 36 to his National Award-winning performance as IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma in 12th Fail, he has been noted for bringing a sense of realism to everyday roles. His work often focuses on characters rooted in ordinary experiences, which has helped his performances connect with audiences. With White, Massey is expected to explore another demanding role, captured through Juan Carlos Gil’s cinematography, adding to anticipation around the film’s release.
