Mission Majnu, starring Sidharth Malhotra begins filming its second session

Actor Sidharth Malhotra announced on Monday that filming for his forthcoming period thriller Mission Majnu had resumed. The film is Shantanu Bagchi's first directorial endeavour, and it was written by Parveez Shaikh, Aseem Arrora, and Sumit Batheja.

The film's initial schedule was shot in Lucknow, prior to the second wave of coronavirus, and was backed by Ronnie Screwvala, Amar Butala, and Garima Mehta. According to the filmmakers, Mission Majnu is based on true events that occurred in the 1970s and tells the narrative of India's most daring mission into Pakistan's heartland, which forever transformed the two countries' relationship.

 

 

 

Sidharth Malhotra, who plays a RAW agent in the film, uploaded a photo from the set on Instagram, adding, "#MissionMajnu shoot resumes. see you in the theatres.”

 

Rashmika Mandanna, Sharib Hashmi, Parmeet Sethi, Anant Mahadevan, and Kumud Mishra star in the film's second schedule, which will be shot in real locales across Mumbai.

 

After a brief hiatus, co-producer Garima Mehta stated the crew is back on the set with tight protocol and guidelines for the shot. The team will shoot important portions of the film throughout this 15-day timeframe.

 

The espionage thriller is also Rashmika Mandanna's first step into Hindi cinema. She is most known for her roles in Kannada films Anjani Putra and Telugu films Geetha Govindam.
