After Padmaavat, Deepika Padukone is all set for her next outing which happens to be her first production, Chhapaak. Her first look as Laxmi Agarwal came out as an utter surprise to her fans and fellow Bollywood mates. The film, which is being helmed by Meghna Gulzar, is currently being shot in Delhi.

This afternoon, Deepika Padukone was seen shooting on the streets of Delhi. Dressed in yellow salwar kurta with printed dupatta, the actress was seen getting off of a bike. The leaked pictures and videos showcase how the actress is continuously shooting in the capital in the scorching heat.

 

 

Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Deepika Padukone will be paired opposite Vikrant Massey in Chhapaak. It will tell the story of acid attack survivour Laxmi Agarwal. The actress believes the story needs to be told and has bankrolled her maiden production to put forth a strong, brave, courageous and independent female character.
