Taking to Instagram Stories, Alia Bhatt reshared a post about Chhaava, expressing her awe at Kaushal’s performance. She wrote, “Vicky Kaushal! What are you???? Cannot get over your performance in Chhaava! @vickykaushal09.” This endorsement from Bhatt, who previously shared screen space with Kaushal in Raazi, adds to the film’s growing recognition.

Before Alia Bhatt’s review, Karan Johar had already declared Chhaava a “blockbuster success.” In an Instagram Story on February 19, he wrote, “#chaava!!! Badhai ho on the BLOCKBUSTER success of a solid film with an unstoppable and emotionally visceral and relentless last act!! @vickykaushal09 is brilliant and is the SOUL and heartbeat of every frame and Akshaye Khanna is exemplary!! Film’s Cast and Storytelling Excellence

 

Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, Chhaava presents a gripping historical tale. Vicky Kaushal takes on the lead role, while Rashmika Mandanna portrays Maharani Yesubai and Akshaye Khanna plays the formidable antagonist, Aurangzeb.
