Here’s what Anil Kapoor had to say when son Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor confessed that he has no money

Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor is gearing up for the release of his noir film Thar which is an OTT release on Netflix. The film will feature him alongside his father Anil Kapoor. During one of its promotional interviews, when the actor was asked about whether he wanted to add the Baby Jordan shoes to his much beloved sneaker collection, the actor humorously confessed that he doesn’t have money. To the same, his father responded cheekily adding that he wouldn’t pay for those either.

Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor is a self-confessed sneaker fan and he loves to flaunt the collection. But when an interviewer asked him about why the latest Baby Jordans is missing from it, the actor commented that he barely has any money left in his account. He also added that he is hoping he would get paid for the Abhinav Bindra biopic soon, so that he can pay off his rent. During his funny confession, Anil Kapoor interrupted and added that he won’t be giving his son and that he only takes from his son’s shoe collection.  Furthermore, he also revealed that the shoes he has been wearing for Thar promotion actually belongs to Harsh.

 

Coming to their film Thar, it is directed by Raj Singh Chaudhary. The filmmaker is attempting to explore the rare genre of western noir films in Indian cinema. Set in Rajasthan, the Anil Kapoor, Harsh Varrdhan starrer is expected to be a ‘Clint Eastwood Movie’ and it also features Fatima Sana Shaikh as the leading lady. The film will start streaming on Netflix on May 6, 2022.

 

Interestingly the father-son duo will also feature together in the forthcoming Abhinav Bindra biopic where Harsh will be playing the Olympic winning shooter.
