Gadar 2 first look: Sunny Deol aka Tara Singh lifts a cartwheel this time, sends fans in frenzy; watch

There is no denying that eager viewers are waiting for a glimpse of the Sunny Deol-starrer Gadar 2. Now, a year after unveiling the motion poster of the forthcoming film, the first look of Sunny Deol from the film is finally out!

For the unversed, ZEE Studios released a 50-seconds-long montage video teasing the audience with its upcoming movies of 2023. The video featured short clips and glimpses of all the titles, which are bankrolled by the banner. And Gadar 2 is one of them. In a blink-and-miss appearance in the video, Sunny’s look reminds his fans of his character Tara Singh in Gadar: Ek Prem Katha.

 

Interestingly, in the mini video clip, he can be seen lifting a cartwheel to fight baddies. This instantly reminds us of his famous scene from the first film where he uproots a water pump to dodge a violent mob. In fact, that scene is synonymous with Gadar and there have been several spoofs of the same over the years.

Speaking of the upcoming sequel of the 2001 release, Gadar 2 will reportedly continue the story of Tara Singh, his wife Sakeena (Ameesha Patel), and son Jeete (Utkarsh Sharma). In the first instalment, Tara Singh crossed the border to bring his wife back. Directed by Anil Sharma, who also helmed the first, Gadar 2 is scheduled for release in the first half of 2023.

 

Earlier in December 2022, Luv Sinha, who will be essaying a significant role in the film, shared an update with fans. In a tweet, he informed them that he is shooting in Ahmednagar for the last schedule.
