For Fatima Sana Shaikh, life has taken a major, positive turn. The actress appeared in Bollywood as a child actor in films like Chachi 420. Then she did small bits in films like Bittoo Boss, Table No 21, Akaash Vani, Tahaan etc. But luck favoured her when she bagged Dangal. The actress got a chance to play the adult Geeta Phogat and overnight, she became a nationwide sensation. It was a film featuring Aamir Khan in a leading role and yet she managed to shine. It was no surprise that she then bagged one of the biggest upcoming films of Bollywood, Thugs Of Hindostan. At the success party of Secret Superstar, Fatima seemed to be in great mood and talked to the media in length about the Diwali release and a lot more. But when asked about Thugs Of Hindostan, she remained more or less tight-lipped, probably due to contractual obligations. But she couldn’t stop hiding her excitement of working with Big B. She said, “I can’t talk much about Thugs Of Hindostan. There’s a lot of time left. But I am very excited and happy. I am very fortunate to be working with Amitabh Bachchan. He’s a legend.”

 

Thugs Of Hindostan is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, who earlier directed Aamir Khan in 2013’s biggest grosser Dhoom 3. It is all set to release next year on Diwali.
