The Family Man actor Vedant Sinha, who won hearts with his mischievous and memorable portrayal of Atharv Tiwari, is set to return in the much-awaited third season of Raj & DK’s hit Prime Video series. The young actor, who has also been part of acclaimed projects like The White Tiger, Noor, TGIF, and Criminal Justice 3, opened up about his admiration for the celebrated filmmaker duo and how their mentorship has shaped his craft.

“Raj & DK sir are truly visionaries. Their storytelling has a very unique flavour. It’s rooted in reality, yet entertaining, layered, and full of surprises. They know exactly how to bring out the best in every character, no matter how big or small the role is. As an actor, they’ve influenced me a lot. They create such a comfortable and collaborative atmosphere on set that you automatically feel confident to experiment, try, and grow. They never force you into a performance—they guide you in a way that makes you discover the character yourself. Working with them has made me more aware, more natural, and more honest as a performer,” Vedant shared, reflecting on his learning experience.

 

The young star further added, “I would define Raj & DK as creators with a rare balance of intelligence, subtlety and creative courage. Their vision, tone and style of storytelling have set a new benchmark in Indian content. They understand human behaviour so deeply that even the smallest moment in their writing feels relatable and meaningful. As directors, they have shaped me tremendously. They encourage authenticity and spontaneity, and that has helped me understand the difference between acting and being.”

 

Speaking about how working with Raj & DK has changed him, Vedant said, “Working under them has given me a strong foundation. I’ve learnt to listen, observe, and approach every scene with honesty rather than performance. They’ve made me a calmer, more organic and far more aware actor. I truly feel fortunate that my early years as an actor were guided by such incredible filmmakers.”

 

Vedant also described the on-set environment of The Family Man as “calm and flawless,” saying that “somehow magic gets captured on camera.” Sharing a valuable lesson from Raj & DK, he added, “They changed me by teaching the most important rule. Good acting is not about overacting, it’s about being real, honest and in the moment. So if I had to define them — they are like those cool teachers in school who give you homework but in such entertaining way that you get it done without struggling.”

 

The upcoming season of The Family Man will see Manoj Bajpayee reprise his role as Srikant Tiwari, with Priyamani returning as Suchi. As hinted by Raj & DK earlier, Season 3 will expand the show’s espionage universe with a fresh political angle and new threats, while continuing the balance between family life and national duty that defines the franchise.
