EXCLUSIVE: In a throwback interview, Parineeti Chopra reveals her desire to marry Saif Ali Khan; says, “Saif is my love”

Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra has been in the headlines ever since her rumoured relationship with AAP leader Raghav Chadha came to the spotlight. However, the actress and the politician put the rumours to rest after they got engaged on May 13 in New Delhi. However, in an old interview, Parineeti Chopra revealed that she would like to marry Saif Ali Khan from Bollywood.

In an old exclusive video interview with Bollywood Hungama, Parineeti Chopra could be seen expressing her excitement to marry Bollywood actor, Saif Ali Khan. In the fun segment, Parineeti was asked to name a person from the given field or profession whom she would want to marry. However, the actress said, “Saif Ali Khan” even before she was given the options. Later when she was asked to choose someone from Bollywood, apart from Saif. The actress gave a thought and replied, “No, Saif…Saif is my love.” Further the actress went on to choose Bradley Cooper from Hollywood. In the same interview, Parineeti revealed that she would not want to marry any politician stating, “I don't want to marry any politician. I don't want to marry any politician ever.” Parineeti also revealed that she would be playing ‘Din Shagna Da’ on her wedding.

 

As per reports, Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha have been long-time friends as they studied together at the London School of Economics. They also follow each other on Instagram. They were first spotted together grabbing dinner. Following which, Raghav came to pick her up at the Delhi airport, adding fuel to their wedding rumours. As per several reports, they are committed and will tie the knot soon.

 

Coming to the professional front, Parineeti was last seen in the Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher and Boman Irani starrer Uunchai, which was helmed by Sooraj Barjatya. She has a bunch of projects in the pipeline, including Imtiaz Ali’s next directorial Chamkila. Besides this, she also has Capsule Gill, opposite Akshay Kumar. The Tinu Suresh Desai directorial is said to be a real-life story of additional chief mining engineer Jaswant Singh Gill, who helped in the rescue of people when a coal mine in Raniganj, West Bengal, was flooded in 1989.
