EXCLUSIVE: Karisma Kapoor considers herself lucky to have worked with best filmmakers in the country: “As an artist, you have to mould yourself to what the director wants”

Karisma Kapoor is all set for her next project, Netflix's Murder Mubarak. The actress stars alongside Sara Ali Khan, Pankaj Tripathi, Vijay Varma, Dimple Kapadia, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca Chopra, Suhail Nayyar and Aashim Gulati. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actress spoke about working with Homi Adajania and how different it was from her previous experiences.

Karisma Kapoor said, “I think I have been very lucky working with some of the best filmmakers in our country over decades. But, every director is also different. Their approach to cinema, characters, and films are very different. As an artist, you have to mould yourself to what the director wants. Homi would make you feel so comfortable. It was more about talking and explaining your characters. Everybody works differently. It was a real pleasure, really fun and good.”

 

The trailer of Murder Mubarak was launched on March 5 amid the presence of media in Mumbai. Produced by Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films, and directed by Homi Adajania, Murder Mubarak premieres on March 15 on Netflix.
