Exclusive: “My co-stars hated me for that scene”, says Lara Dutta while talking about ‘Kaun Banega Shikarwati’

Bollywood actress Lara Dutta is enjoying this phase of her career. Last seen as Indira Gandhi in Bell Bottom, the actress is currently starring ZEE5 project Kaun Banega Shikarwati, an out-an-out comedy drama.

In a recent interview of Lara Dutta with Bollywood Hungama, the actress talked about how ‘drama’ comes naturally to her. When asked the former Miss Universe if she enjoyed the entire element of drama in Kaun Banega Shikarwati, to which she humourously said, "Oh I do, is that not obvious in that scene. My co-stars hated me for that scene because I walked in, took it over and then got all the lines right while wearing the most ridiculous outfit."

 

On the work front, Lara Dutta is currently busy promoting her latest release Kaun Banega Shikarwati. Before this, the actress was see hailing the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in Bell Bottom.

 

Kaun Banega Shikarwati was released on 7th January 2021. The story revolves around a former king, who has a dysfunctional family, devises an outlandish plan to unite his estranged daughters. The series features Soha Ali Khan, Shikhar Srivastava, Lara Dutta, Naseeruddin Shah, Kritika Kamra, and Anya Singh.
