EXCLUSIVE: Ankit Tiwari confesses it is "practically" not possible to make best friends in the industry; breaks down the process

The well-known Bollywood singer and composer Ankit Tiwari has enchanted listeners with his beautiful vocals and melodious singles. In a recent interview, Ankit opened up on friendship and called it a “bitter truth.” He spoke on how he became friends with people he worked with and how it is practically impossible to become friends with people who are already established and in higher position from you.

In an exclusive video interview with Bollywood Hungama, when Ankit was asked about his first friend in the industry, he said, “friendship is a bitter truth.” Further, citing an example Ankit explained, “There is a building, it has an elevator and everyone has their own floor. Everyone has decided that this is my floor. You think that I will go to the upper floor but cannot go for now. I am on the first or second floor in the building right now. So, the floor button you press in the lift, your friendship is there. If you desire to form a friendship with someone directly on the 27th floor, then it is practically not possible. You have slowly and gradually change the floors.”

 

Recollecting his old memories, Ankit said, “I remember when I came in this industry and used to meet people, many a times I used to meet a lyricist, or an engineer or a programmer, however now I myself know a bit about programming though am not a pro, so, now I can manage my things on my own. But during that time when I used to meet those people, they used to become my friends. I used to hang out with them.”

 

 

Ankit has given several hits including ‘Sunn Raha Hai’ from the film Aashiqui 2, ‘Galliyan’ from Ek Villain, ‘Tu Hai Ki Nahi’ from Roy, 'Shammat' from Ek Villian returns and many more. He also has a number of projects in his pipeline.
