Ektaa R Kapoor thanks Akshay Kumar and Jeetendra for their work ethic: “The time has come for me to say my thank yous”

Ektaa R Kapoor recently shared a note of gratitude for Akshay Kumar and her father Jeetendra, acknowledging their contribution to the film industry through consistent work and discipline. Her post comes shortly after the release of Bhooth Bangla, produced under her banner Balaji Motion Pictures, which also marks Akshay’s reunion with filmmaker Priyadarshan.

Taking to Instagram, Ektaa shared images featuring Akshay Kumar and Jeetendra, drawing parallels between the two. In her note, she spoke about their shared professional values, particularly their commitment to discipline and their trust in a producer’s vision. She also credited such consistency for supporting the business side of filmmaking and enabling opportunities across the industry.

 

Sharing the post, Ektaa wrote, “The time has come for me to say my thank yous… This picture of Dad and Akshay Sir reminds me exactly of what discipline can do. They are so similar that every time I talk to Akshay Sir, I feel like I’m talking to my Dad…Their discipline & their belief in the producer’s conviction, along with deep trust and respect is just wonderful! In volume, there is job creation. That is what they bring to the table! Thank you, Akshay Sir, for giving every producer, from the top to the mid-sized, a chance to put their best foot forward! Love you, Guruji! @generating employment".

 

 

In her message, Ektaa underlined how regular output and a structured approach to work can contribute to job creation and sustain the larger ecosystem of the film business. Her remarks also pointed to the importance of collaboration between actors and producers in maintaining industry momentum.

 

Bhooth Bangla is presented by Balaji Motion Pictures in association with Cape of Good Films. The film features a cast including Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Tabu, and Rajpal Yadav, alongside Akshay Kumar. Directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, and Ektaa R Kapoor, the film is currently running in theatres.
