Dino Morea shares his experience working with co-actor Mammootty; says, “He is a fantastic actor and someone to watch and learn from”

Actor Dino Morea has been giving many iconic performances with his talent and versatility. The actor is all set to make his debut in Telugu film industry in Surrender Reddy’s Agent, where the actor will be seen in a negative character.

 

Agent also features actor Mammootty and Akhil in the film. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, sharing is experience on working with Malayalam film industry legend Mammootty along with Akhil Akkineni, he said, “Working with Mammootty Sir and Akhil has been tremendous. We do know that Mammootty is obviously besides being many awards winners, a fantastic actor and someone to watch and learn from. This is my second film with Mammootty Sir. The first I did was many years ago when Rajiv Menon made Kandukondain Kandukondain, and this is my second with Sir. He remembers fondly the days when we were shooting back in Chennai for the first one. “He is so experienced. He does 3-4 films every year and he has been consistent over so many years. So, it is amazing to watch how they perform and how they invibe their characters. Akhil is new but he has got such great great energy and he really takes his work so seriously, a thorough professional. So, it's been wonderful working with these two,” the actor added.

 

Dino also revealed his experience working with the director of the film Agent, Surender Reddy. He said, “Surender Reddy has been wonderful to work with. He has obviously given many successes down South and when they narrated the story to me, I was taken aback by the fantastic role that was being offered, I immediately jumped to it.”

 

Dino Morea is a director’s actor as he gives himself completely in the hands of the director. The actor said, “Now working with them was obviously a different experience. When I spoke to my director, I said that you (Surrender Reddy) know the audience we are catering to, so I am going to listen to everything you say, and you have to direct me. Which he did and the way he directed me has been wonderful because he knows the movie in his head, he knows how the audiences want to see their characters and hence I was doing stuff which is maybe different from what I would usually do. But it works for that character, and it works for the audiences all over and especially the audiences in the Telugu film industry. I am hoping to see the final version and am truly hoping that it just turns out as wonderfully as I envisioned.”

 

Dino Morea’s Agent is slated to release this year.
