Diljit Dosanjh becomes first actor and singer from Punjabi industry to have his own wax figure at Madame Tussauds Delhi

Punjabi actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh, who was recently seen in Soorma, is adding another feather to his success hat. The actor will be joining several other celebrated artists at the museum of Madame Tussauds. Diljit Dosanjh has become the first Punjabi actor/ singer to have his own wax figure at Madame Tussauds Delhi.

Diljit Dosanjh shared a couple of pictures from the day when the measurements for the wax figure was taken by the team of experts. The team took over 200 measurements with several photographs of Diljit for the wax figure. It will be kept in the music zone at the museum. Sharing the news on his social media, he wrote, “Finally Yeh Din Bhi Aa Gaya  @madametussaudsdelhi #Madamtussauds”

 

 

Madame Tussauds Delhi wrote, "We are glad to announce that @diljitdosanjh would be the first actor/musician from the Punjabi film industry to have his figure at #TussaudsDelhi. It’s time for some Dhol and Bhangra at Madame Tussauds."

 

 

Diljit Dosanjh's wax figure will be joining Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Asha Bhonsle, Anil Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonu Nigam among others.
