Aamir Khan has in the recent past been associated with multiple social campaigns, be it through this television show Satyamev Jayate or for that matter in real life too. Now we hear that the actor recently met the Maharashtra governor Vidyasagar Rao at Raj Bhavan.

As per reports, the courtesy meeting that was held saw the two discussing various social issues including some of those highlighted in the actor's show 'Satyamev Jayate'. Post the meeting as a token of appreciation, the Governor presented Aamir with a copy of Jawaharlal Nehru's book 'Discovery of India'.
Back on the film front, Aamir Khan who was last seen in the 2014 release PK directed by Rajkumar Hirani, is currently busy with his next venture Dangal that is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and features him playing the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat, on whom the film is based.
