Boney Kapoor visits Maha Kumbh 2025, Jagannath Temple and Kaalki Dham, offers prayers to Ganga Maa

Renowned film producer Boney Kapoor recently shared glimpses of his spiritual journey, which included visits to some of India’s most sacred sites. Taking to Instagram, Kapoor posted a series of pictures from his recent trips, highlighting his deep devotion and faith.

Sharing details of his travels, Kapoor wrote, "#mahakumbh Last 2 weeks, I visited to pray at Jagannath ji temple in Puri, Odisha, traveled to Sambhal for the shilanyas of the temple to be built at Kaalki Dham & yesterday was at Kumbh to offer prayers to Ganga Maa."

 

 

 

Apart from his religious pursuits, Boney Kapoor has been making headlines for his latest acquisition in the film industry. The veteran producer has bought the South Indian remake rights of the Marathi blockbuster Baipan Bhari Deva for approximately Rs. 2 crores.

 

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Boney Kapoor was quite impressed with Baipan Bhari Deva. He initiated the process to acquire the rights in 2024 and successfully sealed the deal within the same year. He now holds the rights to remake the film in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.”

 

Another insider added, “Boney ji will soon finalize the directors for the South adaptations and begin casting. Given the film’s strong, female-driven narrative, he is confident that leading actresses from all four industries will be eager to be part of the project.”
