Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav yet to receive Rs 25 lakh prize money

Popular vlogger and internet sensation Elvish Yadav, who emerged as the winner of the second season of Bigg Boss OTT, recently shed light on a surprising twist regarding his victory. In a candid conversation with Shehnaaz Gill on her show "Desi Vibes With Shehnaaz Gill," Elvish revealed that he had initially questioned whether a wild card entrant, like himself, could actually win the show.

He sought clarification from the show's makers multiple times, emphasising that he was concerned about this rule. Elvish recounted, "I asked them at least 100 times, 'Bhai, vote ka hi hai na (The winner will be decided through votes only, right)? I hope it is not a rule that despite a wild card getting votes, he cannot win.' They said, 'Wild card ko jitayenge agar votes mile toh (We will make the wild card contestant the winner if he gets votes)."

With an impressive fan following and record-breaking audience engagement during the Bigg Boss OTT 2 finale, Elvish Yadav emerged victorious, surpassing Abhishek Malhan, the runner-up. While he was awarded the winner's trophy, the promised Rs 25 lakh cash prize has yet to reach him. This revelation left Shehnaaz Gill visibly shocked, exclaiming, "Ye toh galat hai (This is wrong)."

Having said that, it is worth mentioning here that Elvish recently made headlines for purchasing a lavish home in Dubai, offering his viewers a glimpse of his Rs 8 crore duplex apartment through a vlog.
