Bigg Boss 16: Gauahar Khan reacts to Shalin Bhanot calling Gautam Vig a woman; says, ‘extremely disappointing’

Bigg Boss Season 16 has managed to keep the audience engaged. The latest episode got more intense and high-octane drama after Bigg Boss announced the captaincy task. While Sajid Khan managed to win the task, BB contestants Shalin Bhanot and Gautam Vig get into a heated argument. Reacting to the same, former Bigg Boss participants Gauahar Khan and Rajiv Adatia slammed Bhanot over his sexist remark.

For the unversed, in the episode, Shalin called Gautam "aurat" and added that because he is a woman, he is weak and should not compete in the race for captaincy. The sexist remark has disappointed many celebs and fans, who took to social media to express their rage. Reacting to his derogatory comment, Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauahar Khan took to her verified social media handle.

 

In a tweet, Khan wrote, “Shalin Bhanot women are not weak. To think calling Gautam an aurat is something derogatory, is extremely disappointing.” She further added that if he wants to insult his co-contestants, he should target their traits and personality. She signed off by saying that he should remember that his mother is also a woman, and in the following tweet, she added “show some respect.”

 

 

 

On the other hand, Rajiv Adatia also reacted to Shalin’s comment, and tweeted, “They are stronger than all of us men put together! They carry a child for 9 months men couldn’t even imagine! They are the most strongest in every way!”

 

 

 

Coming back to the captaincy task, Sajid Khan won the game and became the news house captain.
