At the prestigious FDCI event, Bollywood's own ethereal beauty, Athiya Shetty, walked down the runway as the showstopper for renowned designer Anamika Khanna in a mesmerising display of elegance and regal appeal. Athiya captivated the audience with her commanding presence and immaculate flair while dressed in a stunning costume that embodied contemporary royalty.

Anamika Khanna is known for her intricate work that adds a modern twist to contemporary fashion. At the FDCI Indian Couture Week 2023, Athiya Shetty turned the showstopper for Anamika Khanna's latest bridal couture. The actress was wearing a full-sleeved pastel lace kurta that featured exquisite embroidery and threadwork, and she looked stunning as she walked the runway. The designer's use of rainbow beading over an ivory foundation gave the garment a striking edge. The actress wore a pair of straight-fit trousers with the tough work kurta. She kept her makeup simple, opting for a deep red lip, well-defined eyes, and shimmering eyelids. She also wrapped her hair back in a neat bun. She chose a bulky choker necklace as her sole jewellery piece.

 

 

Anamika Khanna's latest collection was all about heavy beadwork, embroideries, and a lot of studs, amalgamating the past and the present. She has created fine masterpieces in the past and continues to do so even today. FDCI captioned the post, 'This collection is set in today's context yet inspired by the past, it embraces silver and gold metallics, antiquated allure, emeralds, pearls, pastel hues, and the elegance of ivory and black. Modernity meets tradition with "Khinkhab brocade," zardozi, hand embroideries, and graceful draping. The romance of lace, hearts, bows, and the symbolism of the swan complete this ode to love in all its exquisite forms.'
