Anushka Sharma prays for the suffering to end in a poem she penned on her birthday
The year 2020 has not been good in general for any of us. The year has claimed too many lives due to Coronavirus and otherwise as well. Only recently, we lost two of the most spectacular actors, Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor and the country is still coping with the loss. As Anushka Sharma turned a year older yesterday, she penned a poem to mark the day.
In the poem, she talks about praying for all the suffering to end and sadness to dwindle. The poem perfectly describes the current state of the country and the world. It shows how affected Anushka has been by the instances that have taken place in the past few days. Take a look at Anushka’s poem.
