Anupam Kher recalls meeting Kirron Kher 50 years ago in Chandigarh on her 71st birthday; says, “You are still the same”
On the occasion of Kirron Kher's 71st birthday, her husband, veteran actor Anupam Kher, expressed his love and admiration for her by penning a heartfelt note. Taking to his verified Instagram handle, Anupam shared a post dedicated to the actress-turned-politician, accompanied by a collection of throwback photos featuring Kirron with Sikander Kher, Abhishek Bachchan, and others.
In the caption, Anupam wrote, "Happy Birthday #Kirron! May God give you a long, happy, peaceful, and healthy life! I have known you for close to fifty years now." He fondly reminisced about their first meeting in 1974 at the Department of Indian Theatre in Chandigarh, where Kirron shone as the star student of Panjab University. He praised her brilliance in studies, her achievements as a national badminton player, and her established career as a theatre actress.
Anupam continued by acknowledging Kirron's strength and resilience in facing life's toughest battles, always emerging as a winner. He expressed his wish for her to continue winning people's love, trust, and faith with her remarkable persona and inherent goodness.
