Ananya Panday has already established herself as a star to watch in the industry in the three years since she made her debut with Student of the Year. She gave Gen Z-approved staples a heightened shine with her promotional wardrobe for Liger earlier this year, and most recently, fashion fans got to sample more of her unique style when she stole the show for Pankaj & Nidhi at Lakmé Fashion Week in collaboration with FDCI. "Solaris," which translates to "relating to the sun," is the name of the collection that Pankaj & Nidhi displayed. The Lakmé 9To5 Vitamin C+ Range served as the collection's inspiration. They created a collection for Lakme's skincare line in conjunction with FDCI for Lakmé Fashion Week. They chose orange as their inspiration because it is the colour of the skincare line and the colour of the sun which is our source of vibrancy from which we take energy, creating the feeling of vibrancy, energy, and a collection that is full of life.

Their line produced a lively narrative that highlighted the renowned designers' distinctive 3D geometry and architecture. Rich and fine textures, embellishments, and elaboration are examples of modern craft works that appreciate a timeless appeal that are part of their collection. Their collection includes indulgent sets of outfits range from mini dresses with embellishments and embroideries, pantsuits with peplum-style tops, coordinated skirt sets, dresses with balloon sleeves, and many more. Additionally, there was a lot of pizazz and light because Ananya Panday, the show-stopper in an orange blazer dress, stole the show. Ananya ruled the runway in a neon orange blazer dress with notch lapel collars, quarter-length sleeves, floral lace cut-work detail, a double-breasted button-up front, padded shoulders, a body-hugging design that accentuated her lean frame, and a tiny hem length that showed off her long legs.

 

Ananya accessorised her blazer dress simply with orange strappy pumps, tiny gold earrings, and encrusted rings. She pulled back her hair and parted it in the middle, and for makeup, she went with a glossy pink lip colour, sparkly eye shadow mascara on the lashes, flushed cheeks, and dewy complexion.

 

The show witnessed signature Pankaj and Nidhi appliques make a comeback in new patterns, juxtaposing Japanese kimono graphics with Indian ornaments - luxurious and tactile in textures with slivers of shine filtering through with holographic embellishments.
