Alaya F, who recently starred in the action film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, addressed the movie's underwhelming box office performance in a recent interview. Despite the film's commercial struggle, Alaya revealed a positive outlook on the experience. Speaking to News18, Alaya stated, "It didn't bother me because I feel that I got a lot from the film. I managed to reach a new audience who perhaps didn't know of me."

Alaya acknowledged the inherent challenges of an action-heavy film, saying, "When you're making a film of that scale and an action masala one at that, the reviews aren't going to be all about critical acclaim." Alaya continued, "The main review for a film like this will always come from the audience. It received a mixed reaction from the audience, and I can't tell them what they should watch and what they shouldn't.”

Alaya also discussed her character's reception, which she admitted was divisive. "My character was viewed in two ways. Either people thought that she was the most irritating character to ever grace action, or they thought she was the most endearing character," she explained. "I chose to do the character in a certain way. I was well aware of the fact that she wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea. Sometimes, certain scenes after editing end up looking differently on screen and that’s something out of my control. I gave my heart, and I did what I thought was the best," Alaya concluded.

For the unversed, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is a high-octane action thriller directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The film features Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Manushi Chhillar in lead roles. The film clashed with Ajay Devgn's Maidaan at the box office.
