Ajay Devgn celebrates 19 years of The Legend Bhagat Singh
Actor Ajay Devgn celebrates 19 years of his iconic film The Legend of Bhagat Singh. The film released in 2002 and starred Ajay Devgn in the titular role as the revolutionary Bhagat Singh.
Ajay took to his social media handles and shared a picture of his character from the film. Ajay wrote, "It is not sufficient to play a revolutionary like Bhagat Singhji, once in your lifetime & career. You need to keep him there constantly... After all, these are those who wrote history with their #19YearsOfTheLegendOfBhagatSingh #RajkumarSantoshi."
Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, the film starred also Sushant Singh, D. Santosh and Akhilendra Mishra as the other lead characters. Raj Babbar, Farida Jalal and Amrita Rao played supporting roles. The film chronicles Bhagat Singh's life from his childhood where he witnesses the Jallianwala Bagh massacre until the day he was hanged to death.
