Adah Sharma lands exciting role as female superhero in International film; says, “I can't wait to share more stuff about it soon”

Bollywood actress Adah Sharma, who is currently basking the success of her recent film The Kerala Story, is now gearing up to embark on a new venture in the realm of international productions. Adah has secured a significant role as a female superhero in an upcoming film. Although approached for comment, Adah confirmed the exciting opportunity while maintaining a sense of secrecy surrounding the project's specific details. This development has sparked curiosity and anticipation among fans and industry insiders eager to witness Adah's portrayal of a powerful female superhero in the international arena. With her versatile acting skills and screen presence, Adah Sharma is poised to captivate audiences on a global scale.

The actress told IANS, “I've always found female superheroes very cool and all I can say is yes I'm playing one now and I can't wait to share more stuff about it soon. Action is a genre I really enjoy being part of.”

 

She further mentioned, “I like to try different genres, varied roles and I'm lucky people are thinking of me for different characters. After The Kerala Story, I thought this would be very different. I like to talk about a project only when I come out with a trailer for it. Until then, I'm a little superstitious. (I will share) more on this soon.”

 

On the work front, Adah Sharma last portrayed the role of Shalini Unnikrishnan in The Kerala Story. Produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the film portrayed the story of young South Indian girls who are manipulated into converting their religion and are forcibly made to join the ISIS. While the film was said to be based on true events, a lot of allegations were made against the film because of its story. The film released in India on May 5, 2023.
