AB6IX make hearts flutter with warm and cozy '1,2,3' song from Complete With You

AB6IX (Korean: 에이비식스; pronounced as A-B-Six) is a South Korean group consisting of four members: Jeon Woong, Kim Donghyun, Park Woojin and Lee Daehwi. The group debuted in May 2019 with their first EP titled B: COMPLETE. Kicking off 2022 on a musical note, the group is back AB6IX have released the new album Complete with You. This is been a special release after their sequence albums MO’ COMPLETE: HAVE A DREAM, and MO’COMPLETE from last year, which marked a great comeback since the previous full album 6IXENSE in 2019.

The title song '1, 2, 3' accompanied with the album has callback to the title song 'Cherry' of the previous album MO' COMPLETE. It is an exciting pop dance song that narrates the story of AB6IX wanting to share great moments with certain someone. The lyrics full of excitement that show the sincerity towards the fans catch both ears - "When the fancy light shines on us / The party between you and I starts  When the music gets louder / We take fancy steps and dance / Let’s dance with me tonight (Let’s dance) / Let’s dance with me tonight / Just us in this place / It’s the first page of the story of you and I."

 

In particular, the piano melody of the bridge part adds a warm and cozy feeling that is perfect for this winter. The music video goes from black and white to colourful era depicting more joy in the lives of people they love. The group member Daehwi participated in composing and writing the song.

 

“We greatly miss our fans during these challenging times brought on by COVID-19. This album embodies our longing and desire to be able to meet them again. Please show your interest and love! I love you, ABNEW,” says Jeon Woong.  “I’ve felt good about this album primarily because it feels like we’re giving a gift to our fans. My wish is for our music to be able to comfort the listeners,” says Park Woojin.

 

“It’s our first album for 2022. I find it especially meaningful that it’s full of songs written by our members. I hope you will enjoy it. Thank you!” adds Lee Daehwi. “The individuality and charms of each AB6IX member stand out in this feel-good album. It also features a wide range of genres. Hopefully, may people come to love it,” says Kim Donghyun.

 

Known for being a “self-producing” group, all the members of AB6IX participated in the producing and writing processes for each of the tracks for the album, just as they have with their previous releases. In this 5-track album, each track has been credited to at least one of the members with their producer On The Road from BRANDNEW MUSIC. This album shares something special from each member by showcasing each of their individual colors and message for their dedicated fans and supporters.
