The Kerala Story Box Office: Films beats PK, RRR, Tiger Zinda Hai and KGF - Chapter 2, becomes the 7th All Time Highest second weekend grosser
The Sudipto Sen directed Adah Sharma starrer The Kerala Story produced by Vipul Shah hit screens over a week ago. After opening on a decent note, the business of the film saw immense growth with its first Monday recording higher collections than its opening day. Following this, the collections of The Kerala Story continued to see a steady flow, with business picking up even further on its second weekend running.
In this box office report, we look at the second weekend collections of The Kerala Story while comparing the same to all-time previous releases. Collecting Rs. 55.60 cr The Kerala Story has managed to emerge as the seventh all-time highest second weekend grosser. Surprisingly, when compared to previous releases The Kerala Story has surpassed the business of releases like PK which collected Rs. 53.49 cr, KGF 2 which collected Rs. 52.49 cr, RRR which collected Rs. 52 cr, and Tiger Zinda Hai which collected Rs. 48.71 cr. However, despite the buzz surrounding The Kerala Story the business of the film does not surpass certain other releases like Baahubali 2 which collected Rs. 80.75 cr, Dangal which collected Rs. 73.70 cr, The Kashmir Files which collected Rs. 70.15 cr, and others.
Currently, The Kerala Story continues to find patronage among the audience. In fact, despite facing opposition in certain markets, the business of the film has been seeing growth. As things stand now, trade predictions estimate that the business of the film will see further growth over its second week running.
