Dangal grosses 28.83 mil. USD [196.50 cr.] in the overseas markets

 

DANGAL has collected an impressive 28.83 mil. USD [196.50 cr.] at the close of 18th January 2017 with some screens and territories yet to report. It may be recalled that Dangal surpassed SULTAN [23.09 mil. USD] in the overseas markets and has emerged as the *highest grosser of 2016* in the overseas.Dangal grosses 28.83 mil. It has also emerged as the 4th highest All Time Overseas Grosser surpassing Dilwale [25.6 mil. USD] and is expected to surpass Bajrangi Bhaijaan [29 mil. USD] by the end of the day today.

 

The movie had already emerged as the All Time Highest Opening Weekend Grosser as well as the Highest Opening Week Grosser at the North America box office. Having grossed approx. 11.46 mil. USD [78.07 cr.] at the North America box office till date, Dangal has now emerged as the All Time Highest grosser at the North America box office as well at the end of Day 17.

 

With some screens yet to report, the Gulf box office has already crossed 30.36 mil. AED [Rs. 56.34 cr.]

 

 

In Australia, Dangal has collected 1.86 mil. USD [12.65 cr.] till date and has emerged as the All Time Highest Grosser in the region. At the U.K box office, the movie has grossed approx. 3.93 mil. USD [26.74 cr.] till date.

 

At the New Zealand box office, the movie has collected 438k USD [2.98 cr.] to emerge as the highest grossing film in the region.
