Brahmastra Box Office: Film emerges as Ayan Mukherji’s highest opening weekend grosser
The Ranbir Kapoor – Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra directed by Ayan Mukherji was released last week on Friday. After seeing a massive spate of advance bookings, the business of Brahmastra took off to a flying start with Rs. 36 cr coming in on its opening day. Following this, the collections of Brahmastra continued to see growth over its opening weekend.
In this box office report, we look at the opening weekend collections of Brahmastra while comparing the same to Ayan Mukherji’s previous releases. Collecting Rs. 120.75 cr Brahmastra has emerged as Ayan’s highest opening weekend grosser, surpassing his previous releases like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, which collected Rs. 62.11 cr, and Wake Up Sid which had collected Rs. 10.42 cr.
As of now, Brahmastra continues to run to packed theatres, with certain locations in India adding more shows with round-the-clock screenings to accommodate audience demand. Going forward, the business of the film is set to see more growth.
