Box Office - All Time Blockbuster Kabir Singh completes 50 days in theatres

Kabir Singh has done it. The film has completed 50 days at the box office, hence turning out to be one of those rare films in the recent times to be enjoying this feat. The Sandeep Reddy Vanga directed film has enjoyed a phenomenal run ever since release and collected phenomenal moolah at theatres.

The numbers accumulated so far are Rs. 278.50 crores* which is just unprecedented for a film belonging to the romantic drama genre. Though the footfalls have slowed down, especially during the last couple of weeks, the job has been done in a big way, what with the overall collections turning out to be almost triple of what one would have expected in the best case scenario.

 

The Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer is also the biggest ‘A’ rated grosser ever in India and moreover also came on a non-holiday. It is still running at a show or in some premier multiplexes and would be around for next few days before Mission Mangal and Batla House take over on the Independence Day weekend.
