BO Report Card: Ram-Leela's Opening Day comparisons

 

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's latest release Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela has opened very well at the BO. Despite the initial apprehensions, the film has managed to attract the audiences. In this edition of Box Office Report Card, we take a look at the Opening Day collections of the film as compared to previous releases of the lead actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh and also compare its collections with biggest Opening Day figures of 2013.

BO Report Card: Ram-Leela's Opening Day comparisons

 

For Ranveer who is just four films old, Ram-Leela tops the chart, with Rs. 16 crores being his highest opening film ever.

 

On the other hand, Deepika's chart features the film at number three, following her previous releases of this year, namely Chennai Express and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

 

Apart from this, we also compare the film to other top Opening Day grossers of 2013. But knowing that this year has been a year of massive collections, the film comes fifth on the list preceded by Chennai Express, Krrish 3, Besharam and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
