Zayed Khan at war with director?

The industry is abuzz with the news that Zayed Khan is at loggerheads with the director of IDIOT, Deepak Shivdasani, and has asked the producer [A. Purnachandra Rao] to replace Shivdasani with another director in the project. It's absolutely untrue, Zayed sounds shocked as I confront him with the news, Yes, I won't deny that I've made certain suggestions to the makers, but that's for the betterment of the film. That shouldn't be misconstrued as interference from my end. Zayed continues, I share a great rapport with the producer. And when I saw the rush print of the film and offered suggestions, he agreed on a number of issues. If something needs to be added or subtracted from a film, it's always for the betterment of the film. Why should it be mistaken for sitting on a high horse kinda attitude? Deepak Shivdasani, who is currently shooting JULIE [Neha Dhupia, Sanjay Kapoor, Priyanshu and Yash Tonk] in Delhi, sounded equally shocked when asked to comment on the issue. This is news to me, he tells me, I really don't know anything about it. Rao-saab [the producer] would be the best person to comment on it.
