Besides Juhi Chawla, Shabana Azmi and Anupam Kher in prominent roles, the film also stars Jackie Shroff, Zarina Wahab, Arya Babbar, Upasana Singh, Ritu Shivpuri and Divya Dutta. The film highlights the hardships of the teachers, not only in their day to day lives, but also in the education system and society norms.
Subhash Singh's directorial debut Chalk And Duster goes on floor
The film, which is written by Ranjeev Varma, has its music score composed by Sandesh Shandilya and lyrics penned by the veteran Javed Akhtar.
Chalk And Duster which is being produced by S3 Creations went on floors yesterday.
