Sonakshi cast opposite John in Welcome 2

Back in March, we had reported that John Abraham had replaced Akshay Kumar in the sequel to Anees Bazmee's film Welcome. Now we hear that Sonakshi Sinha has been roped in for the film.

 

If what we hear is true, Sonakshi has been paired opposite John in the film. Interestingly sometime back, John had expressed his desire to work alongside Sonakshi. Sources close to the film, state that Sonakshi had been roped in for the role three days ago, while Kainaat Arora is expected to replace Mallika Sherawat in the film.

Welcome 2 which will be helmed once again by Anees Bazmee who had directed the first part in 2007, is expected to start shooting in Dubai from June.
