Shirish Kunder to direct short film starring Manoj Bajpayee, Radhika Apte, Neha Sharma

While his previous film Joker turned out to be a huge disappointment, filmmaker Shirish Kunder has now decided to try his hand at directing short films. The trend of short films has really gained momentum of late with several celebrities from Bollywood fraternity taking up these projects and now Shirish is all set to direct a psychological thriller starring Manoj Bajpayee, Radhika Apte and Neha Sharma.

 

Titled Kriti, the film is said to be shot in Mumbai. Manoj Bajpayee not only revealed his excitement about working for the short film but was also all praises for Shirish Kunder. On the other hand, Shirish too expressed his gratitude towards Manoj who had suggested him about the growing trend of short films in the digital space. While this is the first time where Shirish Kunder will be directing a short film, Manoj Bajpayee has been a part of handful of short films like Jai Hind and Taandav. His co-star Radhika Apte's recent short film Ahalya, directed by Sujoy Ghosh too was well received by the audience.

Kriti is said to go on floor by the end of this month and is slated to release in April.
