Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma to auction their movie costumes for noble cause

If you are one of those who are die-hard fans of Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma, then, you have yet another reason to like them. The duo has now pledged to auction their movie costumes to help raise funds for the redevelopment of flood affected Kashmir and Assam.

 

This is an initiative by eBay India and Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA). The customers can bid for Ranbir's Kashmiri pheran from Rockstar and Anushka's leather jacket from Jab Tak Hai Jaan. The charity auction began on December 4 (Thursday) and will be live till December 13, 2014.

In a statement issued by Ranbir Kapoor, he said, "I feel honored to be able to contribute towards supporting the redevelopment of Kashmir and Assam through the charity auction run by eBay India and EEMA. I encourage people to participate in this noble cause and help all those in need". Anushka Sharma, on the other hand, said that, "I encourage all my fans to participate in this auction and help raise funds to support the cause."
