No re-writing or re-shooting:

There is talk that after the debacle of AKS, Amitabh Bachchan is having second thoughts about negative roles, which is why he asked the maker of AANKHEN to change the script slightly. But Gaurang Doshi, the producer of the film, denies that he was instructed by the Big B to that effect. Amit-jis character in AKS was not at all negative. The character he enacted was forced to do evil things. But in AANKHEN, he is playing an out-and-out negative role, he discloses, continuing, The question of re-writing or re-shooting the film does not arise at all. The film is close to completion and my last schedule will be held between December 1 and 12. Gaurang tells us that he has already fixed the release date of his film January 25. If at all the film gets delayed, it will be due to the mixing, which I intend doing in London, he states. Universal will release the music of the film in early December.
