Mission Mumbai A movie depicting the heroic patriotism of Mumbai

In an exclusive chat with IndiaFM, Executive Producer J C Vyas revealed that the movie, Mission Mumbai, is complete and has moved in post production phase. The movie is slated for Diwali release. The movie stars Sonu Sood & Ashutosh Rana in lead roles with Jyoti, the sister of South Indian actress Simran plays the female lead. Other actors making their presence in movie are Shakti Kapoor, Pramod Moutho and Pankaj Berry. The movie deals with terrorism and human bombs. It takes at the human element of the scourge of suicide bombs and terrorist attacks, which till recently were the preserve of Middle East and Sri Lanka. The 1992 Mumbai Bomb Blasts, the Mulund and Ghatkopar blasts are depicted in the movie. Playing the lead negative role is Nawab Shah who also featured in the movie Escape From Taliban. The climax of the movie takes place at Gateway of India, the site of recent terrorist bomb blasts. In the movie, the terrorists plan on blowing up the Gateway of India in a bomb attack. The climax of the movie was shot on 20th and 21st of August. The eerie coincidence is that this climax was canned just 4 days before the actual blasts took place at the Gateway promenade. The movie is produced by Naresh Mehta and directed by Rajiv Ruia. Dilip Sen-Sameer Sen have composed the music. The movie tries to bring out the patriotic element that If the terrorists think they can conquer India by spreading terror in Mumbai with blasts, they forget that behind one crore Mumbaikars, there are 99 crore Indians.
