Huma Qureshi to distribute food and blankets to the needy

Currently, many actors and actresses are actively participating in campaigns and the recent one was the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' where Bollywood celebrities came together to sweep their localities with a broom as a means to show their support for the cleanliness drive. And now, Huma Qureshi too has decided to help her hometown in her own way.

 

The actress is born and brought up in Delhi and is aware of the fact that so many people die of winter and sheer lack of warm clothes and harsh weather. Hence, Huma is making arrangements to help the destitute who are suffering due to lack of amenities.

The actress will be distributing 40-50 blankets to the under privileged in Delhi this winter like the way she does every year, although she realizes it's not much but it's an attempt from her side. Prior to this, she has also distributed food to the needy.

 

Huma Qureshi will soon be seen alongside Varun Dhawan, Yaami Gautam, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Vinay Pathak in Sriram Raghavan's dark drama Badlapur. Produced by Maddock in association with Eros International, the film is slated to release on February 20, 2015.
