Question: The trade is abuzz with speculation that Amisha Patel is on the verge of quitting Hindi films. Since she has signed a number of projects in the South, she has decided to shift to Chennai. Is it true? Rikku (secretary to Amisha Patel): To be honest, the news is being blown out of proportion by vested interests. Even before KAHO NAA PYAAR HAI, Amisha had acted in a Telugu film. She has accepted a few projects in the South because she found the scripts interesting. But that doesn't mean that she has no Hindi films in her kitty. There's a project for Venus, besides a film with the Moranis-Soorma, plus my home-production. She's decided to get choosy now. Not too long ago she'd signed too many films without looking at her role. She has decided not to repeat the mistakes now.
