Golmaal 4 is not a remake of Tamil comedy Soodhu Kavvum

 

Rohit Shetty whose last directorial venture was the Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon starrer Dilwale seems to have been on holiday. However, now we hear that the maverick producer-director is all set on returning to direction with the film Golmaal 4.

 

Though Rohit will soon be commencing work on the fourth instalment in the hit Golmaal franchise, rumours had it that the film would be a remake of the Tamil film Soodhu Kavvum. However, putting rumours to rest a source close to the film denied there being any similarity between Soodhu Kavvumand Golmaal 4 saying, "Yes Rohit has acquired the rights of the South film, but Golmaal 4 isn't a remake of it. In fact Golmaal 4 has a totally different story."

 

Golmaal series stars Ajay Devgn in the leading role along with Arshad Warsi and Tusshar Kapoor playing prominent roles.
