Farhan confirms cast of Lakshya:
His debut film DIL CHAHTA HAI was released exactly a year ago. And now Farhan Akhtar is geared up to start his next venture. There was speculation that he had signed SRK for the main role. Weeks later, the grapevine was abuzz that he had finalised Vivek Oberoi for the film. But Farhan has signed Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta to head the cast of the film, a love story set against the backdrop of war. The film is titled LAKSHYA and is being scripted by Farhan's father Javed Akhtar. It will be ready for release in the first quarter of 2004.
