More on release dates! Saawan Kumar has also decided to shift DIL PARDESI HO GAYAA to October 10. "My distributors are not ready to release the film during shraddh," Saawan says. Like MAIN MADHURI DIXIT BANNA CHAHTI HOON, DIL PARDESI HO GAYAA was scheduled for release on September 19. Incidentally, a special screening of DIL PARDESI HO GAYAA was organised for well-known politician Sheila Dixit, on September 7 at Film's Division, New Delhi. "She loved the film," Saawan, currently in Delhi, called to say. Amrish Puri and his family members were also present on the occasion. More compliments came Saawan's way when David Dhawan [who had edited Saawan's films in the past] called the film-maker out-of-the-blue, praising the massive hoarding the maker has put up at Juhu Beach [Mumbai]. "We spoke after almost five years," Saawan said.
