Amitabh,Tabu inaugurate multiplex:

City Mall, located on the Link Road at Oshiwara, Andheri, will be the first shopping mall in Mumbai that houses five state-of-the-art cinema halls as well. Though the mall will be open on April 20, the five screens will start functioning from April 5 with the release of AANKHEN (in four out of five screens) and BLACK HAWK DOWN on the fifth screen. Amitabh Bachchan and Tabu inaugurated the five-screen complex, called Fame Adlabs, on April 2. Also present were top-notch industrialists, politicians, distributors-exhibitors and people from all walks of life. In a well-worded speech that deserved an ovation, Bachchan said that Manmohan Shetty and the Shroffs (Shyam, Balkrishna and Shravan) were the most humble, unassuming people he'd came across. They are giving back to the industry what they have earned over the years, he said, adding that the multiplex was a boon for those living in the area since the locality doesn't boast of a single theatre. Thereafter, the guests were shown a preview of the songs of AANKHEN, besides the trailers of two forthcoming English films.
