Alia Bhatt embarks on new journey, to launch children’s book ‘Ed Finds A Home’

This week marks a new chapter for Alia Bhatt's children's wear brand, Ed-a-Mamma, as they venture into the world of publishing with their inaugural children's picture book, ‘Ed Finds A Home’. This exciting project is a collaboration between Ed-a-Mamma and Puffin, an imprint of Penguin Random House India.

The news was announced by Alia herself on Instagram through a playful Reel featuring animated characters and the enticing message, “A new Ed-venture awaits.” Fans were further thrilled with the invitation to attend the StoryVerse festival happening on June 15 and 16 at Jio World Drive in Mumbai, where the official launch of ‘Ed Finds A Home’ will take place on June 16.

 

Launched in 2020, Ed-a-Mamma has carved a niche for itself by offering stylish and sustainable clothing options for children, teens, and even maternity wear. The brand's recent acquisition by Reliance Brands for a whopping Rs. 300-Rs. 350 crores underscores its growing popularity and commitment to quality.

 

‘Ed Finds A Home’ is described as part of a series with a focus on "inspiring love for nature in the coming generation."

 

Beyond Ed-a-Mamma, Alia Bhatt has several films in her kitty. These include co-producing Jigra with Dharma Productions; starring alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, and an upcoming untitled film within the YRF Spy Universe.
