Akshay and Priyanka not together for a film or music video

Many in the industry, trade as well as Bollywood lovers were surprised when a newsbreak happened yesterday around Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra being in talks for Singh Is Bling. While it was insinuated that the two were in conversations for pairing up in the Prabhu Dheva directed film, it was also hinted that in addition they were contemplating coming together for a music video.

 

As is the case, this has turned out to be a plain rumor with no basis whatsoever.

"This one has come in out of nowhere, it is as simple as that," states an industry insider who has a true picture around the proceedings, "There have been no talks whatsoever between the two for any film, be it Singh Is Bling or anything else. In fact there is no truth to them meeting up either. There has been no conversation, no discussion, no developments; it is as simple as that."

 

The insider added, "Akshay is on a holiday and traveling the globe while Priyanka has been on a cruise for Dil Dhadakne Do. Where does the question arise on them meeting when they haven't even been in the same city for weeks now? Also, there is no music video either."

 

On a parting note, the insider adds, "Actually this doesn't even qualify as a speculation or a rumor. It is nothing but figment of someone's imagination."

 

We get that! But with Kriti Sanon of Heropanti fame being finalized as Akshay Kumar's leading lady in Singh Is Bling, it only kills the rumor further.
